Anatomy of An Ungrateful Heart

Urgency and desperation can be valid symptoms of genuine need, but they can also be weaponized by some as tools employed to cunningly secure attention, and hack into resources.

Ingratitude violates even the wits of Isaac Newton’s law, as it brings back to its benefactor an ‘unequal and opposite reaction’; evil and selfish interest are its currency for repaying goodwill and generousity.

Ingratitude indeed has a short memory that only briefly heals when there’s another need.

Remember the Lord your God, the giver of life, grace and mercies. Remember His deliverance, favour, and loving kindness.

Be thankful to God.
Be thankful to the helpers God brings into your life.
Be as deliberate in thanking as you are in asking.
